Susann Francken

Playscheme Trustee

Susann is a legally trained professional working in legal operations and international project management. Previously, Susann has worked in childcare for many years and is passionate about opening opportunities for play and learning to children from all backgrounds. .

We were privileged that we have a high number of staff who come back year after year to work for us. As many staff had previously worked for us, they already understood our aims, ethos and how we work.

Each location has 1 Play Leader and 3 Play workers.  We provide a free lunch to every child that attends.  The lunches are supplied by Snack Attacks in Patchway and are nutritious and healthy.

All South Gloucestershire Playscheme staff have undergone Enhanced DBS (disclosure barring service) security checks.  We do this to ensure we meet legal requirement to ensure all children attending are safeguarded.

“The leaders were excellent, food was great, location was perfect and it’s even free of charge. Thank you so much! ”
